The second International Forum on Corneal and Eye Surface Diseases, hosted by Aier Eye Hospital Group, was held in Changsha from March 8th to 10th, 2024. The forum gathered more than 400 experts and scholars from all over the world, and through more than 60 academic reports, it shared the latest research results around dry eye, corneal surgery, pterygium, keratoconus, eye bank and other topics.

With the advent of the "screen reading" era, the incidence of dry eye incidence rate is rising year by year, and is getting younger. "New progress in dry eye diagnosis and treatment" was unveiled as the first theme section of the conference. The latest progress in dry eye diagnosis and treatment, including new technologies such as strong pulsed light combined with thermal pulsation therapy, has further promoted the precise, standardized, and personalized diagnosis and treatment of dry eyes.
